Rancho La Puerta, November 2013

Picture

This November I was fortunate that our daughter Jessica took me with her to Rancho La Puerta.  Thank you, Jessica! It was a fabulous, healthful, enjoyable visit and we were able to engage in a variety of activities, eat marvelous food, and enjoy world class facilities and landscaping.  We also met some terrific people there and you may be one of them.

The following are some photographs from our visit there.  These pictures are mainly the snapshots of a guest wandering the grounds.  I was especially interested in the plants, animals, and birds and also the art and landscape but there are a few photos from the cooking class (La Cocina Que Canta), the meals, the organic garden, and other places and activities of interest.  It's a scrapbook, not a documentary.  (Jessica and I may yet put up a blog someplace about our visit.)

I'm sorry I had to clutter up the images with copyright information, but it just seems a necessity in today's world.  If you would like a bigger picture without the clutter, just let me know.  If you wish to post a few of the images on your own Facebook page (say, you were there too or you like birds), that's fine; please ask me first, though, if you want to use one as a cover or profile image.  Of course, commercial use without permission would be a very bad karma.  Thanks.

If you are inclined more to the impatient sort rather than the Zen, and can't wait through the slideshow, click here for a gallery of the pictures.

Enjoy.
